Stetson Continues ASUN Play at Lindenwood

St. Charles, Mo. — Stetson women's lacrosse returns to the road Saturday to face Lindenwood. Opening draw is set for 1:00 p.m.

The Hatters enter the weekend with a 2-10 overall record and a 2-2 mark in ASUN play. Lexi Bird leads the offense with 19 goals and 18 assists for 37 points on the season. Ryley Heilmann is tied for second on the team with 16 goals and two assists while leading Stetson with 34 draw controls. Kathleen Nichols also has 16 goals and is coming off a hat trick performance against Queens.

As a team, Stetson has recorded 191 shots, including 151 on goal, and has converted 156-of-212 clear attempts. The Hatters have collected 141 ground balls, won 117 draw controls, and caused 46 turnovers. Stetson enters the matchup with a .466 shooting percentage, a .791 shots-on-goal percentage, and a .455 free-position percentage.

In goal, Maddie Eckert has earned both conference wins for the Hatters while totaling 119 saves this season. She has faced 378 shots and holds a .439 save percentage.

Lindenwood enters the weekend with a 5-9 overall record and a 2-3 mark in conference play, most recently falling to Vanderbilt. Luci Selander leads the Lions with 33 goals and 23 assists for 56 points and a .756 shots-on-goal percentage. Alissa DiGiacinto and Reese Krieger have each added 25 goals, with DiGiacinto also leading the team with 85 draw controls.

As a team, Lindenwood has scored 162 goals on 396 shots, including 256 on target, for a .409 shooting percentage and a .737 shots-on-goal percentage. The Lions have also totaled 189 ground balls, 211 draw controls, and 73 caused turnovers. In goal, Taylor Coughlin has made 114 saves on 364 shots faced for a .401 save percentage.

Saturday's matchup marks the fourth meeting between the two programs.
