KENNESAW, Ga. — Stetson women's lacrosse hits the road Thursday to face Kennesaw State. Opening draw is set for 1:00 p.m.
The Hatters enter the matchup with a 2-11 overall record and a 2-3 mark in ASUN play.
Lexi Bird leads the offense with 20 goals and 19 assists for 39 points on the season.
Ryley Heilmann is tied for second on the team with 19 goals and four assists while leading Stetson with 36 draw controls.
Kathleen Nichols has also tallied 19 goals with one assist this season. Both Heilmann and Nichols are coming off hat trick performances in the Hatters' last outing.
As a team, Stetson has recorded 219 shots, including 155 on goal, and has converted 170-of-231 clear attempts. The Hatters have collected 151 ground balls, won 135 draw controls, and caused 48 turnovers. Stetson enters the matchup with a .470 shooting percentage, a .790 shots-on-goal percentage, and a .447 free-position percentage.

Maddie Eckert has earned both conference wins for the Hatters while totaling 131 saves this season. She has faced 418 shots and holds a .438 save percentage.
Kennesaw State enters the contest with a 7-8 overall record and a 2-4 mark in conference play, most recently falling to Liberty. Lexi Tinker leads the Owls with 34 goals and 15 assists for 49 points and a .803 shots-on-goal percentage. Caleigh Shore has added 28 goals and leads the team with 60 draw controls.
As a team, Kennesaw State has scored 134 goals on 347 shots, including 227 on target, for a .385 shooting percentage and a .730 shots-on-goal percentage. The Owls have also totaled 239 ground balls, 180 draw controls, and 139 caused turnovers. In goal, Cybella Smith has made 92 saves on 304 shots faced for a .430 save percentage.
Thursday's matchup marks the 13th meeting between the two programs, with the Hatters holding a 5-7 record in the previous 12 contests.
