JUPITER, Fla. – Uy Doan claimed a three-shot victory to win his first collegiate tournament and lead the Stetson University men's golf team to a third-place finish Tuesday at the Florida Atlantic Invitational at The Bear's Club.

Doan, a sophomore from Hanoi, Vietnam, carded rounds of 66-68-68 to finish the 54-hole tournament at 14-under 202. He finished three strokes ahead of runner-up NaShawn Tyson of host Florida Atlantic and four strokes ahead of Florida's Parker Severs and Jackson Ormond, who tied for third.

Thanattasorn Supinraj tied for eighth in the 66-player field at 6-under 210. The 2025 ASUN Conference Freshman Golfer of the Year posted rounds of 72-67-71 and finished one stroke out of sixth place.

Simon Engman tied for 24th at 2-under 214 after rounds of 70-72-72, while Gabriel Lindahl moved up nine spots on the final-round leaderboard to finish alone in 34th at 1-over 217. Lindahl recorded five birdies during Tuesday's final round, with just one hole finishing above par.

Playing as an individual, Jack Northgraves climbed 14 spots following a final-round 70 to tie for 36th at 3-over 219. Federico Randazzo tied for 45th at 5-over 221 after rounds of 77-71-73.

Florida Atlantic claimed the team title at 27-under 837, finishing one stroke ahead of North Florida and four strokes ahead of Stetson. Lipscomb placed fourth at 11-under 853, 12 strokes behind the Hatters.

Stetson led the 12-team field in par-5 scoring, averaging 4.45 strokes per par 5, and also recorded a tournament-best 61 birdies. Doan led the field in par-5 scoring at 4.08 and finished with 17 birdies, the second-highest total in the tournament. Lindahl tied for the third-highest total with 40 pars.

The Hatters return to competition Oct. 5 at the West Bay Collegiate, hosted by Florida Gulf Coast University at West Bay Golf Club in Estero. Stetson will conclude its four-tournament fall schedule Oct. 12-14 at the Bryson Invitational at Doral Resort & Spa in Miami.
