Macon, Ga.?-?Stetson women's tennis defeated?Atlantic Sun Conference opponent Belmont 6-1 before falling to former league foe Georgia State 4-1 Sunday on the road.?

Against the Bruins, the Hatters (7-4) took the 1-0 lead with wins at the first and second positions. Seniors Mili Milovanovic (Kilchberg, Switzerland) Marina Levin (Vancouver, B.C.)?earned a win at the no. 1 position and sophomores Catherine Canady (Jacksonville, Fla.) and Anna Leonenko (Calgary, Canady) earned?win at the no. 2 spot.

Stetson?then sealed the victory with singles wins at the first, second, fourth, fifth and sixth spots. Milovanovic, Levin, Leonenko, Canady and freshman Samantha Lange (Middle Island, N.Y) picked up victories for the Hatters.?

Against the Panthers, the teams opted to play only singles.?While the Hatters dropped the first, second, third and fifth singles matches, Lange grabbed the lone win at the?no. 5.?The freshman defeated Kiera Strickland, 6-0, 6-2. ???
