Hatters Face Non-Conference Foe FAU on Tuesday

Stetson men's soccer concludes a stretch of three games in seven days when the Hatters visit Florida Atlantic, 5 p.m., Tuesday in Boca Raton.
 
The Hatters (3-4-2) enter Friday's match looking for back-to-back victories for the first time all season after rallying for a 2-1 win over Atlantic Sun Conference foe USC Upstate on Saturday. Luke Ferreira and David Caulfield scored goals for Stetson, while goalkeeper Paul Ladwig made a career-high 11 saves.
 
Florida Atlantic (1-5-1) hasn't won since Sept. 2 against Niagara, and overall the Owls are winless in their last four matches.

The Hatters and Owls will meet for the 41st time in Tuesday in a series that dates back to 1977 … Stetson and FAU are former ASUN rivals as well … the Hatters have won two straight against the Owls, including a 2-1 overtime victory last season in DeLand.

Senior goalkeeper Paul Ladwig is enjoying a strong final season, as he currently leads the ASUN in both saves (54) and save percentage (.818) … David Caulfield scored his first goal of the season against USC Upstate, and it was a game-winning header off a nice cross from Eyal Cohen .. the goal was Caulfield's first since the 2014 season … Luke Ferreira leads the Hatters in goals (3), assists (3) and points (9).
