Hatters Return to the Court Saturday at Fort Wayne

After taking a week off for fall semester final exams, Stetson men's basketball returns to action when the Hatters visit Fort Wayne, 3 p.m., Saturday.
 
The Hatters (7-5) enter play at Fort Wayne following a 79-76 win at Marist on Saturday, Dec. 9.  B.J. Glasford led the way with 17 points, and Divine Myles added 16 as Stetson earned its fourth road win of the year.
 
Fort Wayne (6-5) is coached by former Stetson assistant Jon Coffman. The Mastodons have lost two straight, dropping games at Akron (83-79) and Miami, Ohio (81-73).
 
Following Tuesday's game the Hatters return home to host UCF, 6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19 at Edmunds center.
 
News & Notes
•Stetson won its fourth road game of the season last Saturday at Marist, one more than the Hatters won a year ago. A win at Fort Wayne will be the program's most road wins in a year since the 2012-13 squad won six.
•Senior point guard Angel Rivera needs two assists to become the fourth player in school history to reach 500 for his career. Rivera enters Saturday 29 assists away from becoming the program's all-time leader.
•Senior guard Divine Myles cracked the 1,500-point plateau last Saturday against Marist, making him just the eighth player in program history to reach that mark
•Luke Doyle is expected to make his 45th straight start on Saturday, tops on the team
•Stetson and Fort Wayne are meeting for the fourth consecutive season
•Fort Wayne has won the first three meeting of this series, including a 93-74 win last December in DeLand
•The Mastodons have won the previous three meetings by an average of 12 points per game
