Hatters Open Final Road Swing Thursday at Upstate

Stetson men's basketball opens its final road swing of the year on Thursday when the Hatters visit USC Upstate, 7 p.m., at the Hodge Center in Spartanburg, S.C. The game can be seen on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app, and can be heard in Volusia County on WSBB AM 1230 and 1490 or worldwide on myam1230.com.

The Hatters (10-18 overall, 2-9 ASUN) are looking to snap a three-game losing streak while also moving up in the conference standings ahead of next month's conference tournament. Stetson is currently seventh in the eight-team league, two games behind sixth-place Jacksonville and one game ahead of NJIT, whom the Hatters will face on Saturday.

At 17-11 overall and 7-4 in conference play, Upstate is still in the hunt for the regular-season title. The Spartans trail current co-leaders FGCU and Lipscomb by two games with three to play. Upstate defeated Stetson, 97-86, on Jan. 21 in DeLand.
