Alexa Richardson Invited to USA Volleyball CBNT Training

Stetson University junior Alexa Richardson has been invited to participate in the USA Volleyball Collegiate Beach National Team training block from July 10-27 in Southern California.

The CBNT is a new program focused on maintaining an elite level of beach volleyball training around collegiate activities. It is dedicated to those athletes in the U21 age groups and older. Invitations are extended to former 2016 HP pipeline athletes, top performing NCAA athletes, and top ranked athletes as per the USAV Beach Ranking. Trainings will be held on the beaches of Southern California between Rosecrans and Redondo Beach.

As part of the CBNT, athletes will be provided an opportunity to train and compete with an elite group of athletes, learning and forming new synergies and partnerships. Athletes will also be exposed to a number of coaches and styles of training while preparing for the USAV Elite Development Program (EDP) or Beach National Team (BNT) placement.

In 2016, Richardson was one of 10 athletes nationally to be selected for the USAV Beach A2 High Performance Team.
