Stetson Wins Three in Jacksonville, Extends Streak to Eight

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Stetson beach volleyball put together a strong showing in Jacksonville, earning a pair of 3–2 victories over #14 Florida Atlantic and #17 North Florida while sweeping Saint Leo 5–0.

The Hatters opened the day with a hard-fought 3–2 win over Florida Atlantic, securing victories on three courts to edge the Owls. Maria Ozaeta and Marta Carro continued their steady play at the top flight, earning a straight-sets win to give Stetson an early point.

At No. 2, EJ Cudmore and Julia Radelczuk battled through one of the most competitive matches of the day, outlasting their opponents in three sets. After splitting the first two frames, the pair pulled through in a tightly contested third set to secure a pivotal point for the Hatters.

Katie Camp and Anniina Muukka provided the clincher at No. 4, taking control in straight sets to give Stetson its third and deciding point. Florida Atlantic picked up wins at the No. 3 and No. 5 positions, but the Hatters' depth across the lineup proved to be the difference in the narrow victory.

Stetson followed with its most complete performance of the day, sweeping Saint Leo 5–0. The Hatters controlled the dual from start to finish, winning all five courts in straight sets.
Ozaeta and Carro once again set the tone at No. 1 with a convincing victory, while Cudmore and Radelczuk dominated at No. 2. Julia Czurylo and Zoe Flueckiger added another point at No. 3 with a comfortable straight-sets win.

On Court 4, Danielle Hernandez and Lucie Nosalkova were tested early but responded in extra points to take the opening set before closing out the match in two. Madeline Camp and Anniina Muukka capped off the sweep at No. 5 with a decisive win, sealing the Hatters' most dominant result of the day.

The Hatters closed their time in Jacksonville with another tight 3–2 victory, this time over North Florida. Ozaeta and Carro clinched the match for the Hatters, earning a straight-sets win.

At No. 4, Camp and Muukka delivered in a three-set battle, dropping the first set before rallying to win the next two and secure a crucial point.

At No. 5, Madeline Camp and Cayla Sutton put the Hatters ahead early in straight sets. North Florida earned points at No. 2 and No. 3, but Stetson's ability to win the key swing matches proved decisive once again.
