Jacksonville, Fla. — The ASUN Conference announced its weekly beach volleyball honors Tuesday, with Stetson's
EJ Cudmore and
Julia Radelczuk earning Pair of the Week recognition after posting a perfect 6–0 record.
Cudmore and Radelczuk helped lead the Hatters to a 5–1 week, including victories over conference opponents North Alabama and FGCU. Competing at the No. 2 flight, the duo went 6–0 and earned Stetson's lone point in a matchup against No. 7 Florida State with a 21–19, 21–17 victory over Audrey Rothman and Saofe Duval.
They followed with a three-set win against Texas A&M–Corpus Christi's Duda Fernandes and Millie Olsson, 20–22, 21–14, 15–11. The pair opened the weekend with another three-set battle, defeating North Alabama's Paige Griner and Sarah Larkin Lewis, 21–13, 26–28, 16–14, before earning a straight-set victory over Southern Miss's Zuzanna Michalska and Abigail Lewis, 24–22, 21–13.
On Saturday, Cudmore and Radelczuk clinched both matches for the Hatters. They secured a straight-set win over UAB's Pien Grooters and Lauren Cairo, 21–17, 21–18, before closing the weekend with a three-set victory against FGCU's Alexis Keeter and Ava Lilliquist, 21–17, 18–21, 17–15.
Stetson returns to action Friday, Mar. 20, at North Florida, where the Hatters will face FAU, Saint Leo, and North Florida beginning at 8:00 a.m.
