DeLand, Fla. — Stetson opened the Stetson Spring Invitational with a pair of victories Friday at the Cooper Beach Volleyball Complex, sweeping North Alabama 5-0 before edging Southern Miss 3-2.
The Hatters began the day with a dominant performance against North Alabama, winning all five courts.

Zoe Flueckiger put Stetson on the board first at the No. 4 flight with a decisive 21-5, 21-13 victory over Hailey Benesz and Mabrey Whitehead. In the top flight,

Marta Carro followed with a straight-sets win over Audrey Gauthier and Selma Robinson, 21-19, 21-16.
Madeline Camp and

EJ Cudmore and
Julia Radelczuk outlasted Paige Griner and Sarah Larkin Lewis in a three-set battle at No. 2, 21-13, 26-28, 16-14, while

Lucie Nosálková capped the sweep with a dramatic 22-24, 21-16, 20-18 victory over Jennah Atchley and Brooke Bolden at No. 3.
Stetson carried that momentum into its second dual of the day, narrowly defeating Southern Miss 3-2.

The deciding point came at No. 2, where Cudmore and Radelczuk secured the dual with a 24-22, 21-13 win over Zuzanna Michalska and Abigail Lewis.
