DeLand, Fla. — Stetson opened the Stetson Spring Invitational with a pair of victories Friday at the Cooper Beach Volleyball Complex, sweeping North Alabama 5-0 before edging Southern Miss 3-2.

The Hatters began the day with a dominant performance against North Alabama, winning all five courts.
