Hatters Host FGCU Thursday on Senior Night

Stetson men's basketball closes out the regular season when the Hatters host ASUN Conference foe FGCU, 7 p.m., Thursday at Edmunds Center. The game will be streamed live on ESPN3 and can be heard locally on WSBB AM 1230 and 1490.
 
Thursday's game will also serve as Senior Night for seven seniors playing in their final home game. Matthew Cioce, Larry Dennis, Luke Doyle, B.J. Glasford, Brady Moses, Divine Myles and Angel Rivera will each be honored in pregame ceremonies.
 
The Hatters (12-18, 4-9) have already locked up the No. 7 seed for the ASUN Tournament, which begins next Monday at campus sites around the conference. Likewise, FGCU (20-10, 11-2) long ago locked up the No. 1 seed as regular-season champions.
 
Stetson is looking to gain some momentum heading into the postseason, and to also build upon last Saturday's 86-74 win over Kennesaw State. Divine Myles led the Hatters with 20 points against the Owls and Abayomi Iyiola added 18 and nine rebounds.
 
FGCU is looking to right the ship after dropping a pair of home games last weekend, to both Lipscomb and Kennesaw State.
 
Despite postseason berths and seedings having already been decided, Thursday's game isn't without drama. Myles is five points away from becoming Stetson's all-time leading scorer, and Doyle needs one 3-pointer to become the Hatters' career leader.
