Hatters Visit Kennesaw State in Search of Postseason Berth

Stetson men's basketball closes out the regular season on Friday when the Hatters visit ASUN Conference foe Kennesaw State in a survive-and-advance game as both teams look to qualify for the final ASUN Tournament berth. The game will tip at 7 p.m. and can be seen live on ESPN+.

The Hatters (7-23 overall, 3-12 ASUN) enter Friday one game ahead of Kennesaw State (5-25, 2-13) in the ASUN standings. But the Owls own every possible tiebreaker, so if the Hatters want to keep playing, they'll have to win. Stetson already owns a 92-75 victory against the Owls on Feb. 2 in DeLand.

On Tuesday, Stetson came up just short in a 77-67 loss at North Florida. Abayomi Iyiola had a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Christiaan Jones and Jalen Crutchfield scored 15 points each off the bench.

Kennesaw State suffered a 76-59 loss at Liberty on Tuesday. Danny Lewis scored a game-high 27 points but the Owls shot just 39 percent from the field as a team.
