Hatters to Begin Basketball Season Without Fans at Home Games

With COVID-19 cases on the rise throughout Volusia County and the state of Florida, Stetson Athletics will begin the 2020-21 basketball season without fans in attendance at men's and women's home games at Edmunds Center. The 2020-21 season is slated to begin for both teams later this month.
 
Whether fan attendance will be permitted at a later date will be determined by the athletic department in conjunction with the Safer Stetson Task Force.
 
Despite this news, fans will still have plenty of ways to follow the Hatters, both at home and on the road:
 
All home games and all ASUN Conference road games will be available on ESPN+. Click here to subscribe.
  • Live stats will also be available for all home games at GoHatters.com/stats
  • Select road games will be available on various television and digital platforms. Information on those games and how to watch will be announced at a later date.
  • Fans can also follow the respective Twitter accounts for both teams for in-game updates, video clips, graphics and information (@StetsonMBB, @StetsonWBB)
  • For game previews, post-game recaps, reaction and photos, fans can visit GoHatters.com
 
Stetson Athletics has other ways for fans to remain engaged during the basketball season, even if coming to games isn't an option:
 
Submit a Video to Cheer on your Hatters
  • Fans are encouraged to submit a 5-15 second video throughout the season showing their support for the team. These videos will be used in a variety of ways to hype up the Hatters and engage our fans, including: pregame, in-game on the video board and on social media. If you would like to make a submission, please refer to the following guidelines to help assure that your video can be used:
    • .MP4 or .MOV Format
    • Can be recorded on an iPhone or Android device
    • Recorded horizontally
  • We encourage all family members, season ticket holders, alumni, donors, sponsors and Stetson campus communities to mention their affiliation (class of '84, 10-year season ticket holder, current student, etc.) where applicable in the videos. All videos should be submitted to this link. Please note that we can't guarantee that all videos submitted will be featured.
 
Hatter Rewards App
Fans can continue to earn points and prizes by checking into events remotely and using the Hatter Rewards App. There will be scannable QR codes on our various social media pages as well as the home game broadcasts. Social Media Promotions
Throughout the season, fans will be able to participate in various promotions on social media for select prizes. These promotions will feature in-game contests such as: guess the score, time of first goal, number of three pointers made, etc. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so that you can participate. 
 
Digital Game Day Program
A digital version of the Stetson Athletics game program will be available for download on GoHatters.com.
