Stetson women's soccer will return home Saturday evening to take on Florida Gulf Coast at 5pm.
History
The Hatters and Eagles have faced off 18 times over 15 years. The teams first met on November 3, 2007, with the Hatters winning 3-2. The last time the two teams matched up was on October 19, 2022.
Scouting the Hatters (3-11-3, ASUN 3-5-2)
Stetson is coming off an incredible comeback win against Bellarmine after being down 2-0. The victory pushed the Hatters into the eighth seed in the conference keeping them on the bubble for the Atlantic Sun Conference Playoffs.

Kelly Gende were that Hatters who scored in the last match as the win was the third straight result for Stetson.
Mallory Osborn and the back line of the Hatters has held strong throughout the season drawing many teams offsides several times a game. Osborn continues to lead the conference in saves with 130. Week 1 ASUN Player of the Week leads the team with five goals followed by LoBasso with three. Gende, Therrien and and Place all have one goal apiece. Place picked up two assists against Bellarmine which now ties her for the team lead with Gende. Seem, LoBasso,
Lea Alexander, and
Hanna Arvay are all tied with one.
Scouting the Eagles (9-4-4, ASUN 6-1-3)
The Eagles currently sit third in the conference standings as they have already clinched ASUN Championship berth. Erika Zschuppe and Kendal Gargiula both lead the team with six goals followed by Ashley Labbe and Katharina Oelschlaeger with four. Three other members on the team have a goal. Zschuppe also leads the team with seven assists followed by Reese Mendenhall with four. Eleven other Eagles have tallied at least one assist this season. Goalkeeper Olivia Molina has started all of Florida Gulf Coast's seventeen games making 91 saves and posting a .883 save percentage.
Clinching Scenarios
The Hatters will be able to clinch a berth for the ASUN Championship with a win over the Eagles. The other way Stetson can clinch is through a loss or draw from both Kennesaw State and North Florida.
