Scouting the Hatters (6-4, ASUN 0-0)
Jalen Blackmon leads the Hatters this season averaging 21.7 points per game. He is shooting 47.7% from the field and 47% from beyond the arc. Blackmon currently ranks fourth in the NCAA in 3-point field goals made per game with 3.9 while also ranking fifth in the NCAA in total 3-point field goals made with 83. Aubin Gateretse is currently second in the NCAA in field goal percentage shooting 73.2% from the floor. He is averaging 11.7 points and leads the team averaging 7.5 rebounds per game. Stephan Swenson, the Hatters' floor general, has been racking up the assists this season averaging 6.2 per game which puts him at the top of the leader board in the ASUN. He sits at 62 assists which is tied for tenth in the NCAA. Swenson is also averaging 9.8 points per game and 4.8 rebounds. 
 
Stetson as a team is averaging 78.6 points per game while shooting 47.6% from the field and 36.2% from three. The team averages 9.8 three points per game. The Hatters are averaging 10.4 free throws per game and are second in the NCAA shooting 81.3% from the charity stripe. The team has out rebounded their opponents by 3.2 rebounds per game keeping the opposing team from getting second chance points.
 
Scouting the Mavericks (5-6, Summit 0-0)
Omaha is coming off losses to Texas Tech and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The Mavericks are led by Frankie Fidler who is averaging 14. 8 points per game and has a total of 25 assists. Fidler is shooting 40.7% from the field and 32.5% from three. Marquel Sutton leads Omaha in rebounds with 5.5 followed by Fidler with 4.8. 
 
As a team the Mavericks are averaging 72.5 points per game while shooting 44.2% from the field and 33.6% from beyond the arc. They do have the edge in free throws per game with 15.7 while hitting 71.5% of their free throws.
