DeLand, Fla. -- For the second time this season, Stetson junior Carolina Ferraris (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and sophomore Anete Namike (Marupe, Latvia) have been named the ASUN Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.  It is the third weekly honor for the Hatters this season.
 
Playing at Pair 3, Ferraris and Namike went 3-1 at the GSU Diggin' Duals, earning a pair of wins against Top 20 opponents to help lead Stetson to a 3-1 week.  On Friday, the Stetson duo picked up 2-0 victories over pairs from #16 South Carolina and #11 Georgia State, helping to lift the Hatters to back-to-back 3-2 wins.  On Saturday, they added another 2-0 victory over a pair from UAB in a 4-1 Stetson win.
 
For the season, Ferraris and Namike are 21-7 on the season.  The 18th-ranked Hatters (16-12) will face No. 12 FIU and St. Thomas on Friday in Miami, and then will close the regular season with duals against No. 15 FAU and St. Thomas on Saturday in Boca Raton.  The ASUN Championship will be held April 21-23 in Jacksonville, Fla.
