THE LEAD
The Stetson University Women's Soccer team will take the pitch for the fourth time this regular season as they play against Florida at 6:00 PM on Thursday. 

History
The two programs have only met one time which occurred last season as the Gators got the win in DeLand 3-0.

SCOUTING THE HATTERS (0-3-0, 0-0 ASUN)
The Hatters fell to Charleston Southern 5-1 their last time out. However Annika Seem found the score sheet again as she was able to score on another penalty kick. In the last two games Seem has scored three goals, with two of them coming on penalty kicks. The Hatters have been able to make strong runs and create opportunities but just haven't been able to find the back of the net just yet. 

Scouting the Gators (2-0-1, 0-0 SEC)
The Gators have started out the season strong as they beat East Carolina and Maryland before drawing with Miami. The Gators have scored three goals on the season each by a different player. Freshman Lena Bailey scored the winning goal against Maryland and earned herself SEC Freshman of the Week. Goalie Alexa Goldberg has posted two shutouts for the Gators while benefiting from the strong play of her defense.

The Hatters will travel down to Miami where they will take on Florida International. Kickoff is set to be at 6:00pm on Aug 31 at FIU Soccer Stadium.
