DELAND, FLA.- The Hatters will travel to Miami on Thursday August 31 as they will take on Florida International. Kickoff is set for 6pm at FIU Soccer Stadium.
History
Stetson and Florida International have face each other twelve times with the Hatters having a 4-7-1 record. Last time they played the Panthers won in DeLand by a score of 3-0.
Scouting the Hatters (0-4-0, 0-0 ASUN)
Early this season Coach Bergmann has deployed three out of his four goalies giving each an opportunity to showcase their skills between the goalposts.
Annika Seem has totaled three goals already for the Hatters with two coming on penalty kicks. Seem also leads the team with seven shots on goal followed by
Kelly Gende and
Zoie Weinberger with four shots a piece.
Scouting the Panthers (3-1-0, 0-0 C-USA)
The Panthers started the season beating Alcorn State 6-0, Nicholls State 7-0 and Jacksonville 4-0. Their most recent match was against Mississippi State where they lost 2-0. The two goals in the lost were the first goals that Florida International had conceded this season. Seven different members of the Panthers have scored a goal this season. Nikole Solis has six goals as well as an assist and Kim Schneider has 3 goals with an assist. Florida International has graduate student Ithaisa Vinoly in net who has started all four games this season.

The Hatters will return home to Deland for a matchup with Green Bay. Kick-off for that game will be at noon at the Athletic Training Center.
