Hatters Finish ASUN Play Undefeated

Hatters Defeat Bears on Senior Day 7-0

Box Score DELAND, Fla. - Stetson (13-6,10-0) defeated Central Arkansas (11-12,3-6) on senior day where the Hatters honored seniors Nadejda Maslova and Magdalena Hedrzak for their contributions to the program. The Hatters took the doubles point to start the match and never looked back, sweeping singles play for a 7-0 victory.

"First, we are very thankful to our two graduating senior, Nadya and Magda. They have made a huge impact in our program and have dominated there positions, since coming to us. I'm glad they both got a win in doubles and singles today for their last home matches," said Stetson head coach Travis Sandlant.

"The coaching staff is also very proud of the success this team has earned this regular season. The conference is extremely tough this year. They have stayed mentally tough and raised there level of play each week. We know the job is not done and we are hungry for more at the conference Championship," said Sandlant.

Up Next:
The Hatters conclude the ASUN regular season with a 10-0 conference record. They will head south to Fort Myers for the ASUN Championship next week April 19-21.
