Victoria McGowen Named to 2025 ASUN Hall of Fame Class

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.  — One of the most decorated student-athletes in Stetson history, former women's basketball standout Victoria McGowan has been named to the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference Hall of Fame Class, the league office announced Thursday.

McGowan is one of four inductees in the 10th class of the prestigious ASUN Hall of Fame, joining FIU's Moira Dunn-Bohls, FGCU's Sarah Hansen, and Jacksonville's Sarah Caffrey. These four trailblazers bring the Hall's total membership to 45 distinguished individuals who have left lasting legacies at their institutions and across the conference.

The annual ASUN Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 29, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida.

A dynamic guard for the Hatters from 2010 to 2013, McGowan finished her career with 1,532 points, ranking fourth all-time in program history. She remains the only player in Stetson history to record over 1,500 points, 400 assists, and 200 steals.

As a junior during the 2011–12 season, McGowan captured ASUN Player of the Year honors after averaging 16.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. That same year, she led all NCAA Division I players with three triple-doubles and was named ASUN Player of the Week four times.

She followed that up with a stellar senior campaign, again earning First Team All-Conference honors, while also being named to the ASUN All-Tournament Team. She collected three more ASUN Player of the Week honors and played a pivotal role in leading the Hatters to another ASUN Championship and a No. 14 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

In recognition of her outstanding career, McGowan was named to the ASUN All-Decade Team in 2020.

Her induction into the ASUN Hall of Fame solidifies her place among the conference's all-time greats and celebrates a career that helped elevate Stetson Women's Basketball to new heights.
