Stetson Jumps Out To Lead At Sam Ryder Intercollegiate

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Behind co-leaders Jackson Hicks and Matthis Lefèvre, the Stetson men's golf team built a commanding 13-shot advantage Monday after 36 holes at the 2026 Sam Ryder Intercollegiate at LPGA International's Hills Course.

The Hatters were the only team among the 14-team field to turn in scores under par in each of the first two rounds and finished the day with an 8-under par 568. Stetson is 13 strokes ahead of UTEP and Campbell, each at 5-over par. Baylor University sits in fourth at plus-7.

The 54-hole event concludes Tuesday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start on the 6,984-yard, par-72 layout. Stetson will be paired with Campbell, UTEP and Baylor in the final round.

Individually, Hicks and Lefèvere led the 84-player field with identical 4-under par 140s. A pair of Campbell golfers are close behind with Benjamin Killingstad sitting in third at 2-under and teammate William Sundborn at 1-under. The four are the only golfers in the field to complete the first 36 holes at under-par.

Simon Engman and Thanattasorn Supinraj, playing as an individual, are tied for fifth place at even par. Rasmus Ronnberg is in sole possession of 14th place at 2-over, while Gaspar Glaudas is in 23rd at 3-over. Individuals James McNair and Gabriel Lindahl are in 31st and 39th overall at plus-5 and plus-6, respectively.

Hicks, a senior from Roswell, N.M., matched the low round of the day with a 5-under 67 in Monday morning's opening round. Starting on No. 5, he birdied Nos. 6 and 16 before closing in spectacular fashion with birdies on Nos. 1, 2 and 3. He added another birdie early in the afternoon round and overcame his only two bogeys of the day to remain atop the leaderboard.

Lefèvre was steady throughout, carding back-to-back rounds of 2-under 70. He recorded seven birdies over the first two rounds, with just one bogey and one double bogey as his only miscues.
