DeLAND, Fla. -- Stetson University men's golf welcomes two of the top junior college players in the country this fall when Jack Northgraves and Corey Scullion join the Hatters program after a pair of stellar seasons at Hutchinson Community College.
The duo helped lead the Blue Dragons to consecutive top-5 national rankings and NJCAA National Championship team finishes.
Northgraves, a native of Scarborough, England, registered a 71.6 scoring average as a sophomore and ranked 15th nationally. He earned PING/NJCAA honorable mention All-America honors and was claimed medalist honors at the 2026 Jayhawk Conference Championships. A 2023 graduate of Graham School, Northgraves advanced to the round of 16 at the 2024 English Men's Amateur Championship.
Scullion, a native of Swatragh, Northern Ireland, ranked eighth nationally and earned second team PING/NJCAA All-America honors after registering a 70.9 scoring average last season. He earned medalist honors at the Oakwood Intercollegiate. A 2024 graduate of St Patrick's College, he claimed a tournament win at the 2025 Flogas Irish Junior Open with a 4-under par 206.
Head Coach Danny Forshey has had solid success in attracting top junior college talent to the Stetson program. In 2025, Gaspar Glaudas claimed ASUN medalist honors and participated in the NCAA Regionals. Last season, Matthis Lefèvre was named the ASUN Men's Golfer of the Year and earned an at-large invitation into the NCAA regional field. Both golfers began their collegiate careers at the NJCAA level.
The Hatters are coming off consecutive runner-up finishes at the ASUN Championships and have placed at-large individual qualifiers at NCAA Regionals in each of the last two seasons. The team returns three experienced golfers from last year's team, including rising seniors Simon Engman and Gabriel Lindahl and last year's ASUN Freshman of the Year Thanattasorn Supinraj.
