Jacksonville, Fla. — The ASUN Conference announced its postseason women's tennis honors Monday, Apr. 13, with Stetson earning multiple accolades.
Katsiaryna Tuliakova was named First Team All-ASUN after posting a 14–3 singles record and a 10–5 mark in doubles play. She went 4–3 at the No. 1 position and an unblemished 10–0 at No. 2, highlighted by a 10-match winning streak from March 2 to April 1. In doubles, Tuliakova primarily competed at the No. 1 position, going 4–2 alongside Anastasija Adeikyte and 6–3 with Yuki Mizuguchi. The business administration major also earned ASUN All-Academic Team honors.
Pilar Astigarraga Harper earned Second Team All-ASUN recognition after finishing the season with a 10–8 singles record. She went 7–4 at the No. 1 position and 3–4 at No. 2. In doubles, she posted a 9–7 overall record, going 2–6 at No. 2 with Dana Baidaulet and an impressive 7–1 mark at No. 3 alongside Lombardi. The cellular and molecular biology major was also named to the All-Academic Team.
Yuki Mizuguchi made an immediate impact in her first season with the Hatters, earning Second Team All-ASUN and ASUN All-Freshman Team honors. She compiled a standout 17–2 singles record, going 5–1 at No. 3, a perfect 8–0 at No. 4, and 4–1 at No. 5. Mizuguchi also carried a 12-match winning streak during the season. In doubles, she went 11–6, including a 6–3 mark at No. 1 and 5–3 at No. 3, competing alongside Lombardi and Tuliakova.
Anastasija Adeikyte was a steady force for the Hatters and capped her season with ASUN All-Academic Team honors. The sociology major finished with a 16–3 singles record and a 12–3 mark in doubles play.
No. 6 seed Stetson now turns its attention to the ASUN Tournament, where it will face No. 3 seed FGCU. The Eagles enter the matchup with a 14–6 record, while the Hatters finished the regular season at 13–6 overall, highlighted by a 10-match winning streak.
