VALDOSTA, Ga. -- Junior Simon Engman shot a final round 3-under par 69 to lead the Stetson University men's golf team to a runner-up finish at the 2026 ASUN Conference Championships at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.
Stetson concluded the championship at 4-under par to finish behind league champion FGCU by nine strokes. The Hatters finished in second place at the conference championships for the second straight season.
Engman, a native of Gothenberg, Sweden, moved up eight spots in the final standings to finish in a tie for sixth place overall. He turned in rounds of 72-70-69 to finish at 5-under par for the annual 54-hole championships.
Senior Jackson Hicks, a native of Roswell, N.M., finished in a share of 13th place at 1-under par. He carded consistent scores of 71-71-73 and, over the course of the three rounds of the tournament, played the back nine at 2-under par.
Grad transfer Matthis Lefèvre and Thanattasorn Supinraj each finished in a tie for 19th place at 3-over par. Lefèvre turned in scores of 73-71-74, while Supinraj followed-up his 71-68 with a final round 80. Senior Gaspar Glaudas finished in a tie for 24th place at 4-over par with rounds of 73-70-77.
