DeLAND, Fla. -- For the second consecutive year, the Stetson University men's golf program will be represented in NCAA postseason play as Hatter golfer Matthis Lefèvre earned an at-large berth to the NCAA Regional Championships.
Lefèvre, the 2026 ASUN Conference Men's Golfer of the Year, is one of 45 individuals selected to participate at six different NCAA Regional sites. He will compete at the Athens, Ga. on May 18-20 at the University of Georgia Golf Course.
Hatter teammate Gaspar Glaudas competed in last year's regional in Tallahassee as a result of his performance as medalist at the ASUN Championships.
A graduate transfer who previously played collegiately at New Mexico Junior College and the University of Arkansas, Lefèvre led the Hatters with a 70.9 scoring average, 22 rounds of par or better and 9 total rounds in the 60s over the course of the season. He earned three individual titles during 2025-26 - the Furman Invitational, Dorado Beach Collegiate and Sam Ryder Intercollegiate.
The low five teams and low individual from each region will qualify for a spot in the championship finals. Thirty teams and six individuals in total will compete in the finals that take place May 29 - June 3 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
