WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Stetson University freshman Thanattasorn Supinraj fired a final round 68 to finish in third place at the 2026 PGA WORKS Collegiate Championships at The Park.
Supinraj, the ASUN Freshman Golfer of the Year, turned in rounds of 69-73-68 to complete the 54-hole event with a 3-under par 210. The Udon Thani, Thailand native finished five strokes behind runner-up Arsit Areephun (Chiang Rai, Thailand), from the University of Delaware and seven back of tournament champion NaShawn Tyson (Stuart, Fla.) from Florida Atlantic.
The third Hatter ever to be invited to the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship and the second to take part, Supinraj entered today's final round in fourth place at even par. He started the day with a double bogey on the first hole, but recovered to make the first of seven birdies on the day on the par 4 second hole.
After making the turn at 1-over par, Supinraj reeled-off four birdies on the back nine, including three of his final four holes, to finish at 3-under par 68.
The PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship was created in 1986 to highlight competitive golf programs at the most underserved and underrepresented Minority-Serving Institutions in the country, and educate and inspire student-athletes to pursue career opportunities in the business of golf and beyond. PWCC is considered the most culturally significant championship in collegiate golf (75% of 2024 players identified as "non-white").
The Championship is a 54-hole, stroke-play event contested across five divisions from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), and other Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs).
The individual competition is open to all minority men and women student-athletes playing collegiate golf at the Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, and NJCAA level, or eligible students who are enrolled in one of the PGA of America's PGA Golf Management University Programs.
