Stetson Places 10th at the Pirate Fall Intercollegiate

Greenville, N.C. -- The Stetson University men's golf team shot a three-round score of 922 and placed 10th out of 14 teams Tuesday at the East Carolina Pirate Fall Intercollegiate at Bradford Creek Golf Course.

Sophomore Kris Stewart led the Hatters and tied for 42nd place overall with a three-round score of 230.??Also for Stetson, Chris Sias tied for 44th with a score of 231, Greg Chalas tied for 48th with a score of 233, Erik Detlefsen tied for 51st with a score of 234, and Thomas Parker tied for 65th with a score of 240.

Host East Carolina won the tournament with a score of 865.

The Hatters will return to action Nov. 7-8 as they host the Stetson Invitational at Victoria Hills Golf Club.
