Jacksonville, Fla. -- The Stetson men's and women's cross country teams each finished second out of three teams at the UNF 110% Invitational Saturday morning at the UNF Golf Course.
Sophomore Clarissa Consol led the Hatter women in the 5K race and finished in sixth place overall with a time of 19:11. Also for Stetson, Adrienne DeVita finished ninth with a time of 19:27, Amanda Spring finished 13th with a time of 20:17, Jessica Cosgrove finished 18th with a time of 18:52, Daniella Godenzi finished 21st with a time of 20:58, Rachel Frankenberger finished 28th with a time of 21:19, Trixi Menge finished 29th with a time of 21:41, Emily Nolan finished 36th with a time of 22:24, and Brianna Horn finished 37th with a time of 23:16.
Freshman Drew Denson led the Hatter men in the 5K race and finished in 13th place overall with a time of 16:36. Also for Stetson, Joe Beery finished 15th with a time of 16:44, Andrew Townes finished 22nd with a time of 17:34, Ryan Hodgins finished 19th with a time of 18:31, Kyle Meerdo finished 33rd with a time of 19:13, Ryan Newfrock finished 34th with a time of 19:28, and Austyn Finnk finished 35th with a time of 19:44.
The Hatters will compete at the UCF Invitational next Saturday morning in Orlando.
