Hatters Set to Tee Off on 2017-18 Season

Stetson to play at JU Classic Monday and Tuesday




DeLand, Fla. -- It's been a long wait for the Stetson women's golf team, but the Hatters will finally get their 2017-18 season started Monday at the Jacksonville Classic at Marsh Landing Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

Stetson will be one of 15 teams competing in the three-round event.  The teams will play the first 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday.

Live scoring will be available online at Golfstat.com.  Fans can also follow Stetson Golf on Twitter for the latest team news and results.

Stetson had its original season opener - the Golfweek Program Challenge - cancelled due to Hurricane Irma.

The Hatters will have a very quick turnaround before their next tournament, the Xavier Invitational, Oct. 6-8 at LPGA International in Daytona Beach.
