Hatters 11th After Two Rounds at the Georgetown Intercollegiate

Chase Levesque Shoots 73 in Round 2




Beallsville, Md. -- The Stetson men's golf team shot an opening round score of 312 and a second round score of 320 Monday at the Georgetown Intercollegiate at Four Rivers near Washington, D.C.

The Hatters currently sit in 11th place after the first two rounds with a composite score of 632.

Seton Hall leads the field with a mark of 598.  The teams battled through cool, damp and windy conditions Monday.

Senior Chase Levesque, playing as an individual, posted Stetson's low score of the day, a +2 73, in the afternoon round.  He is currently tied for 22nd place with a two-round score of 153. 

Among the Hatters' five team players, Baylor Payne and Spencer Turner are each tied for 40th (157), Chris Williard is tied for 49th (159), Tate Smith is tied for 52nd (160), and Jake Ludwick is tied for 57th (165).

The Hatters will play the third and final round on Tuesday.
