Hatters Open ASUN Play at Jacksonville

Stetson women's soccer opens its ASUN Conference schedule at 6 p.m. Sunday, as the Hatters travel to Jacksonville to take on the Dolphins of JU.

Forward Jackie Fiacco leads the Hatters into this weekend fresh off of her first ASUN Player of the Week nod, thanks to her two-goal performance in last week's match against FIU.

Fiacco's night was only part of strong effort from the Hatters (1-1) a week ago. Maggie Struble added a goal and Ashleigh Wise made four saves in the Hatters' 3-1 victory.

Jacksonville (0-5) has yet to score a goal in five matches thus far this season. They are winless in those five matches, with their best effort coming in a 1-0 overtime loss versus FIU on Feb. 14.

After a 4-0 loss on opening day at UNF, the Dolphins settled things down defensively, allowing only one goal in each of their previous three matches. Goalkeeper Courtney Green ranks second in the ASUN with 15 saves this season.
