The Stetson University women's tennis program will pay tribute to a trio of seniors on Saturday morning at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center prior to the Hatters' final home match of the spring against Florida Gulf Coast.

Katie Kubicz and
Danel Ashirova will begin at 9:45 a.m., with play in the match against the Eagles scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
Ashirova arrived at Stetson in 2017 from Astana, Kazakhstan, where she was ranked as one of the top five junior players in the nation and has played as the Hatters' No. 1 or No. 2 in both singles and doubles throughout her collegiate career. She has been named ASUN Player of the Week twice in her career, is a two-time All-Conference selection and a three-time Academic All-Conference honoree. She has posted a 3.7 cumulative GPA. majoring in Psychology while also earning minors in Management and Public Health. She enters play on Saturday with 32 career match victories.
Milner came to Stetson at the same time as Ashirova, arriving in the fall of 2017, but from a different part of the world. A native of Adelaide, Australia, where she was ranked 82
nd in the nation among all junior players. At Stetson she has played in the middle of the Hatters' lineup for four years, earning a total of 49 career singles victories entering play on Saturday. She has also earned 27 career victories in doubles play. She has also earned an ASUN Player of the Week award and is a two-time second team All-ASUN selection. She will receive her degree in Marketing this spring.
Kubicz came to Stetson as a junior after spending her first two collegiate seasons at the University of Florida where she earned more than 30 singles victories in two seasons. A product of Ontario, Canada, Kubicz played in just two singles matched in 2020 due to injuries before the season was halted, but both of those were in the No. 1 position. She has played in the No. 2 and No. 3 position for Stetson this year. She was twice named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll and was an ASUN All-Academic team selection in 2020. She completes her Bachelor's in Economics this spring with a 3.5 cumulative GPA while also earning a minor in Communication and Media Studies.
