DeBary, Fla. – Stetson finished the Babs Steffens Invitational held at the DeBary Golf and Country Club in seventh place.
In the final round
Lisa Colee and
Victoria Leach each shot a 78, for the Hatters, which was the team low on the day. They were followed by
Filippa Jansson who shot a 79.
Grace Smith and
Wendy Hsiao would shoot an 80 each and give Stetson a final team score of 939 for the three-round tournament.
Grace Smith would be the highest on the individual leaderboard for the Hatters as she was T18 with a three-day total of 229. Colee would finish T44 with a 238 total, with Hsiao right behind at T46 and a total score of 239.
Filippa Jansson would finish 53
rd with a final score of 243 and
Victoria Leach would finish T56 with a score of 245.
Stetson also had two individual golfers compete
Julieta Oviedo who would shoot an 81 on the final day for a score of 234, which put her in T33 in the final standings.
Maddie Heister would shoot an 84 in the final round, her two round score would be 168 as she did not compete in round two.
The Hatters will be in action again on April 2
nd as they compete in the Pinetree Women's Collegiate in Kennesaw, Georgia.
