Stetson Beach Volleyball came out on top 3-2, in a battle against Arizona on Friday afternoon. This marks the first time in program history that Stetson has beaten Arizona.
Shae Henson and
Tori Clement won their matchup on court 1 21-15, 21-13. The second pairing of
Audrey Gauthier and
Carolina Ferraris won in three sets 21-13, 13-21, 15-6.
Lauren Della and
Vanessa Hurnikova were the fourth pairing and the third pairing to grab a point. They won in three sets 21-17, 16-21, 16-14.
Pair three of
Alina Urzua and
Alanna Shields fell 19-21, 15-21. Fifth pair of
Klea Sirois and
Kiki Drozd dropped their point 19-21, 15-21.
The Hatters will take on Arizona State and Grand Canyon tomorrow March 30.
