THE LEAD
The Stetson University Men's Soccer team will stay on the road as they head to the College of Charleston for a Labor Day matchup against the 2-0 Cougars at 6:00 PM. The Hatters are coming off a 1-0 home opening win over FIU since they're game against the FAU Owls was suspended in the 53rd minute.
The goal was Mata's first of the season after tallying eight last year, second most on the team. The score came on a rebound from reigning ASUN Freshman of the Year,
Xavi Csato, who recorded his first assist of the new campaign. Csato scored a goal for the Hatters in the FAU match but it is unlikely to be resumed.
In the win against FIU, goalkeeper
Nicolo Radaelli earned a clean sheet in the 1-0 win over the Panthers. He faced 17 shots while making all seven save opportunities. The Preseason All-ASUN goalkeeper from Milan, Italy totaled four solo shutout in the net last season.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The two programs have met seven times prior to Labor Day's matchup as the series is knotted up at 2-2-3. They are currently on a two game draw streak after the two last met in last season's home-opener which would end in a 2-2 tie. When on the road, the Hatters hold a 1-2-1 record with their last win coming on Aug. 30, 2019. The series dates back to Sept. 27, 2008, a 2-0 loss for Stetson on the road.
