ST. GEORGE, UT - The Stetson Hatters delivered an impressive performance at the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational, hosted by Southern Utah University from March 7 to March 9, 2025, at the Sunbrook Golf Course in St. George, Utah. Building on their recent victory at the Babs Steffens Invitational in late February, the Hatters secured a third-place finish out of 12 teams, marking their third top-three result under Coach Teresa Brown this season.

Stetson posted a final score of 887, with round scores of 298, 287, and 292. The team's best round came in the second round with a total of 287. Isaki Sakashita led the charge, finishing as the runner-up for the second consecutive tournament with a score of 214, 2 under par. Sakashita's performance included a 74 in the first round followed by two solid rounds of 70.

Julieta Oviedo also had a standout performance, finishing tied for 5th with a total of 217, posting rounds of 71, 72, and 74. Filippa Jansson followed with a tied 10th-place finish, carding a 220 with rounds of 74, 73, and 73. Alisa Brannock and Elizabeth Eberle rounded out the team, finishing tied for 44th and tied for 48th with scores of 230 and 234, respectively.

The Hatters' next competition is the Spring Break Shootout, hosted by Western Kentucky University at the Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club (South Course) in Dade City, Florida, scheduled for March 17-18, 2025.
