DeLAND, Fla. — The Stetson University women's golf team is set to tee it up at the 2026 ASUN Women's Golf Championship, hosted at Dothan Country Club in Dothan, Alabama.
The three-day event will take place at the par-72 layout, as the Hatters look to carry momentum from a strong regular season into postseason play.
Stetson enters the championship following one of the most successful seasons under head coach Teresa Brown, highlighted by four team victories and consistent finishes near the top of tournament leaderboards. The Hatters have been led by a balanced lineup that has produced multiple individual champions and top-five finishes throughout the year.
Leading the way is sophomore Isaki Sakashita, who has been one of the conference's top performers all season. Sakashita, the reigning ASUN Freshman of the Year, has recorded multiple individual victories and consistently positioned herself atop leaderboards, bringing both experience and confidence into the championship setting.
Ailsa Brannock has also played a key role in Stetson's success, turning in multiple top-three finishes this season, including a runner-up showing at the Bermuda Triangle Collegiate and a third-place finish at the Babs Steffens Invitational. Her steady play has provided consistency throughout the lineup.
Julieta Oviedo has continued to trend upward throughout the spring, contributing key rounds and climbing leaderboards in multiple events, while Filippa Jansson also adds veteran experience to the group. Jansson, an ASUN Golfer of the Week honoree this season, has recorded several top-10 finishes and remains a reliable presence in the lineup.
Anna Huettl rounds out the starting five, coming off one of her strongest performances of the spring, including a low round of 69 at the Lady Thunderbird Invitational. Elizabeth Eberle will serve as the Hatters' substitute for the championship.
Stetson will be paired alongside Florida Gulf Coast and North Florida for the opening round, with tee times beginning at 9:50 a.m. (ET). Huettl will lead off for the Hatters, followed by Jansson (10:00 a.m.), Oviedo (10:10 a.m.), Brannock (10:20 a.m.), and Sakashita (10:30 a.m.).
With a season defined by depth, consistency, and winning experience, the Hatters will look to translate that success into a strong showing at the ASUN Championship.
