TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Competing as an individual at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, Stetson sophomore Isaki Sakashita opened play with an even-par 72 on Monday at Seminole Legacy Golf Club.
The ASUN Golfer of the Year sits tied for 18th overall following the opening round after carding two birdies and an eagle. Sakashita shot a 34 on the front nine before closing with a 38 on the back. Her highlight of the day came on hole 11, where she eagled the par-5.
She will tee off for round two at 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday.
