Five Hatters Earn WGCA All-American Scholar Honors

DeLAND, Fla. — Five members of the Stetson women's golf team have been named Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars for the 2025-26 season, recognizing their excellence in both the classroom and on the course.

Senior Filippa Jansson, sophomore Isaki Sakashita, senior Ailsa Brannock, junior Elizabeth Eberle, and sophomore Anna Huettl each earned the prestigious distinction.

The honor is awarded annually to student-athletes who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, compete in at least 50 percent of their team's rounds through the conference championship, and meet additional WGCA eligibility requirements. A total of 1,551 women's collegiate golfers from across the country were recognized this season.

Stetson's five selections match the second-highest total in program history and continue the program's recent tradition of academic excellence.

Jansson earned WGCA All-American Scholar recognition for the third consecutive season, while Eberle collected the honor for the second straight year. Sakashita and Brannock each repeated as recipients after earning the distinction in 2024-25, while Huettl received the award for the first time in her collegiate career.

The Hatters have now produced 20 WGCA All-American Scholar selections over the past eight seasons.
