DeLAND, Fla. – Stetson women's golf opens the 2026-27 season Sept. 6-8 at the Golfweek Fall Challenge at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. The three-day event marks the first of four fall tournaments for the Hatters.
Stetson enters the new campaign following one of the strongest seasons in program history, a year that featured four tournament victories, a runner-up finish at the ASUN Championship, a program-record four All-ASUN selections and the program's first NCAA Regional individual qualifier under head coach Teresa Brown.
Leading the returners is reigning ASUN Golfer of the Year Isaki Sakashita. The junior earned First Team All-ASUN honors for the second straight season in 2025-26 and advanced to the NCAA Tallahassee Regional as an individual. She also joined fellow returner Anna Huettl at the 126th U.S. Women's Amateur Championship this summer after both qualified for the event.
Huettl returns for her second season with the Hatters, while Bridget Butler, Maggie Potash and lone senior Elizabeth Eberle provide additional experience from last year's postseason roster. Butler finished the 2025-26 season on a high note at the Women's National Golf Invitational, firing a 3-under 69 in the final round to finish tied for fourth at 1-over par with a 217 total. Eberle tied for 25th at the event, while Potash also gained postseason experience as a freshman.
The Hatters also welcome four newcomers to the roster this season. Freshmen Maya Burmann and Abigail Lee begin their collegiate careers at Stetson, while transfers Rachel Gomez and Clara Willem join the program after previous stops at Daytona State and Cincinnati, respectively.
Stetson will compete at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club for the season-opening Golfweek Fall Challenge before continuing its fall schedule at the Pirate Collegiate Classic, Navy Fall Invitational and Edisto Island Invitational.
The Hatters' official lineup for the opening weekend will be announced prior to competition.
