Hatters Sweep Saturday Doubleheader

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Stetson men's tennis had double the fun on Saturday as the Hatters swept a split doubleheader, downing Rollins, 6-1, and Florida Southern, 7-0, at Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.
 
"We played a lot of tennis today, and that is exactly what we need at this point of the season," Stetson head coach Christophe Noblet said. "Overall, these are two good wins for us against two solid Division II teams."

In the morning match against Rollins, the Hatters (3-0) swept doubles and won five of six singles matches. In the night cap, Stetson dominated the Mocs by winning every match.
 
Malik Bhatnagar, Loic Blanco, Antoine Sanchez, William Shkrob and Colin MacNamara each won a pair of singles matches on Saturday. The doubles teams of Angus Bradshaw & Bhatnagar, Blanco & Sanchez, and MacNamara & Bergevi each won twice.

"I particularly liked our doubles, which we played with an aggressive mindset all day long," Noblet said. "Playing through a day like this gives you a lot of confidence, and we will use that momentum moving forward."
The Hatters next host Bethune-Cookman, 3 p.m., Friday.
