Blanco won his match at No. 2 by scores of 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (10-7), while Bhtanagar prevailed at No. 1 by scores of 6-4, 6-7 (4-7), 1-0 (10-5).

"We turned in another good team effort today," head coach Christophe Noblet said. "We need to show strength and confidence at every single position, and I think we did that well today. Eastern Kentucky fought well, and we had to dig deep to win the two super-tiebreakers. We have one more match before the start of conference play, and there are still a few areas that I think we can continue to improve on. Every practice and/or match is an opportunity to learn, and I think this group is embracing this attitude all the way."
