Wilmington, NC – Stetson would compete in the UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate finishing T4 overall with a score of 850 at the end of the three-round seventeen team tournament.
After the first round, Stetson would be tied atop the leaderboard with TCU with a team round of 278, shooting ten under par.
The Hatters were led on day one by
Matt Gauntlett who would shoot a 66 to finish tied atop the singles leaderboard.
Javier Calles would be the next Hatter on the leaderboard with a round of 68 for a T3 finish.
Truman Keppy would finish T24 with a 71, followed by
John Houchin T41 shooting a 73 and
Cameron Henry 92
nd with an 83.
Weather conditions would halt the second round of play on Saturday at just a few holes. The second and third rounds would both be completed on Monday.
The Hatters would complete the second round shooting a 282, led again by Gauntlett who had a team low of 68, Houchin would shoot a 69, followed by Calles with a 70, Keppy shot a 75 and Henry would shoot 78.
In the third and final round, Stetson would shoot a 290 team score to finish T4 with a 850. Houchin would shoot a team low five under 67, followed by Keppy who shot a 73, Gauntlett with a 74, while Calles and Henry both shot a 76.
Gauntlett would finish a team best sixth in the singles standings, right behind him was Houchin in T7, followed by Calles T24, Keppy would finish T44 and Henry T85.
The Hatters will travel to Montgomery, Texas to play in the Hunstsville Toyota Walden Invitational April third and fourth.
