DeLand – Fla. Stetson outlasted Coastal Carolina in a three and a half hour match to get the win 4-3.

Marc Saura winning 7-5 and
Ervin Haris Eminefendic /
Juan Jose Rodriguez Garceran winning 6-1. "It was important for us to get the doubles point, I feel like we played our best level of doubles today, which I was very pleased with," said Stetson head coach
Christophe Noblet.
Coastal Carolina took the first three singles points and then Stetson came back to win the final three matches.
Alexandre Hillhouse started the comeback for the Hatters going 6-1,1-6,6-3. On court 1
Marc Saura dropped the first set 4-6, but came back to win 7-5 and 6-1.
The final match to seal the victory for the Hatters was won by
Lucas Olivier who won in a tiebreaker 6-3,6-7,7-6. "There was a point in the match where you get really tired, a part of you wants to give up, but then you see your teammates cheering you on and I was able to take it to another level as I wasn't just playing for myself, but for them as well," said Olivier.
"It was unbelievable fight at the end from Marc, Lucas and Alexandre those matches all came down to a few points here and there, so proud of them for pulling it out," said head coach Noblet. "A lot to learn from today, it was not all pretty, but we will learn from that as we had unbelievable fight in a long three and a half hour match."
Stetson men's tennis will be back in action at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center on Sunday March 12 as they host Pacific at 2:00PM.
