Mobile, AL - Stetson finds themselves in sixth after the first two rounds of play of the ASUN Championship.
The Hatters shot a team total 279 in the first round at the Magnolia Grove Crossings Course and then shot a 276 in the second round, both rounds were played on Tuesday.
Javier Calles shot a team low 68 in round one and would sit in T8,
John Houchin would be finish right behind Calles with a 69 and be in T15 on the individual leader board.
Mason Quagliata would be next on the leader board at T24 shooting a 70 in round one. The final two Hatters,
Truman Keppy and
Matt Gauntlett would both shoot a 72 in the first round and finish T46. The team score being 279 for Stetson after round one where they would sit T7 on the team leader board.
In the second round of the day, Quagliata would shoot a team low 67 in round two finishing the day at T12. Next on the individual leader board would be
John Houchin at T17 after shooting a 70. Calles would be next shooting an even par of 72 to finish T23.
Truman Keppy would shoot a 69 to finish T29 and
Matt Gauntlett would finish T36 after two rounds shooting a 70. The Hatters would improve a spot on the team leader board shooting a 276 in round two to put them in sole possession of sixth place, one stroke behind FGCU and two strokes behind Jacksonville.
The final round of the ASUN Championship will be Wednesday, as
Matt Gauntlett, will tee off at 8:50 a.m. and be followed by his teammates every ten minutes.
