Box Score DeLand, Fla. - Stetson (13-9, 3-5) defeated Queens (5-16, 1-7) on Saturday afternoon sending the seniors out in style.

Prior to the match Stetson honored seniors, Sven Thiergard and Alexandre Hillhouse for their contributions to the program.. 
 
The Hatters dominated doubles landing them an early on lead 1-0. Alexandre Hillhouse and Sven Thiergard won, 6-1 on court three, while Lucus Olivier and Marc Saura brought home the full doubles point, winning 6-3 on court one. 
 
In singles action, on court 5, Sami Ozzor finished first defeating his opponent, 6-1, 6-1 giving the Hatters a 2-point lead. Keeping the Hatters ahead, Alexandre Hillhouse scored another win, 6-1,6-4 on court six.  After a well fought 3 set match, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, Juan Jose Rodriguez Garceran earned Stetson another point on the scoreboard from court 4. Lucus Olivier finished 4th on court three, 6-4, 1-6, 6-1 adding to the Hatters lead. A well battled match on court 1 with Marc Saura falling 5-7, 5-7. Ervin Haris Eminefendic would also come up short on court two after a three-set match, 6-4, 2-6, 6-7 making the final score Hatters 5 and the Royals 2. 

"Proud of us getting the win on senior day. Queens is a good team, a feisty team, as it took over three hours to get the victory today. Congrats to our seniors Alex and Sven," said Stetson head coach Christophe Noblet. "Now the real season begins as it is postseason time, we have to prepare and get ready for the challenge ahead and stay hungry."
