Men's Tennis Defeats Georgia Southern 5-2

Box Score DELAND, Fla. – The 66th-ranked Stetson University men's tennis team earned a hard fought doubles point as Lucas Olivier and Riccardo Baldi clinched the point winning 7-6. Stetson (8-2) earned four victories in singles play to defeat Georgia Southern (4-7) 5-2. The victory extends the Hatters win streak to seven matches. "I think the doubles was big, I really like how we brought a ton of energy at the beginning and got us over the hump and got us points there but I also love the way everybody kept fighting. Even though we had four points we wanted more and it was a really good team effort today from the warmup to the doubles to the singles to my assistant Fabi to the crowd that came out and really made it fun, I thought that was what college tennis was all about." NEXT UP The Hatters will stay at home to face Belmont on Thursday March 7 at 2:00PM at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.
