DeLAND, FL – The Stetson Hatters extended their winning streak to four games, improving to 9-3 on the season, with a 5-2 victory over the Cleveland State Vikings in their final match before conference play. Despite dropping the doubles point for just the fifth time this year, the Hatters won four of the six singles matches to secure the win.
Eder Blanco, who was named ASUN Player of the Week on Wednesday, teamed up with Christian Kuehne to win the lone doubles match for Stetson, with the duo now 9-3 on the season. Blanco was one of four Hatters – along with Xavier Sarda Marti, Sami Ozzor, and Kuehne – to earn a singles victory.

ASUN Conference play begins for the Hatters as they travel to Fort Myers to take on the FGCU Eagles on Sunday, March 16, at 10 a.m. Last season, Stetson defeated the Eagles 6-1, snapping a seven-game losing streak.
