Box Score NASHVILLE – After suffering their first loss of March on Friday, the Stetson Hatters bounced back with a 5-2 victory over the Lipscomb Bisons on Sunday night. The win improves their record to 13-4 on the season and 4-1 in ASUN play.
Kartik Mandla and Juan Jose Rodriguez got things started with a 6-3 win in doubles, improving to 6-2 as a duo. Eder Blanco and Christian Kuehne then secured the doubles point with a 6-4 victory.
Blanco continued his strong performance, finishing first on Court 1 with a commanding 6-0, 6-3 win. Kuehne sealed the second singles point with a 6-2, 6-4 win on Court 2. The match-clinching point then came from Sami Ozzor, who extended his singles win streak to 10 matches with a victory on Court 5.
Marc Saura made the start at the No. 6 spot for the Hatters, securing a hard-fought three-set win, including a 10-4 tiebreaker in the final set.
